The Arid West Wetland Determination Form, released in early 2017, is a resource for landowners and other interested parties to determine whether their land meets the definition of wetland under the Clean Water Act. The form is also intended to help guide those with responsibilities under the CWA in making decisions about appropriate management actions for wetlands. The form can be used by anyone who has an interest in wetland determination, including private landowners, federal and state agency personnel, wetland professionals (e.g., engineers, ecologists), and attorneys. The Arid West Wetland Determination Form was developed as a result of collaboration between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDF
