Navigating the complexities of agricultural laws and safety standards can seem daunting, especially when it comes to the crucial task of pesticide application and recordkeeping. The DACS-13340 form, introduced by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Division of Agricultural Environmental Services, emerges as an essential tool in this landscape. Designed to streamline the process of recording and maintaining pesticide application records, this form addresses the dual requirements of restricted use pesticides and the Worker Protection Standard central posting mandates. By offering a structured format for documentation, the DACS-13340 form not only assists in compliance with Florida Pesticide Law and the Worker Protection Standards but also serves as a comprehensive record-keeping solution for licensed applicators and property owners authorizing pesticide applications. Covering everything from the treatment site details and pesticide brand name to the active ingredients and application methods, this form, if properly completed, stands as an indispensable asset for ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient agricultural practices. With specific sections dedicated to location, applicator records, and timing considerations for central location posting, it underscores the legal and safety obligations tied to pesticide applications, aiming to protect both workers and the environment.
