Form TC 96-210, the Temporary Tag Log of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's Division of Motor Vehicle Licensing (Rev. 03/2026), is the record a county clerk or dealership keeps of the temporary tags it issues; temporary tags are issued for 60 days. Section 1 names the county clerk or dealership, the county, the city of its principal place of business, and the authorized representative with email and phone. Section 2 logs each tag: salesperson, temporary tag number, delivery date, expiration date, purchaser name, vehicle identification number, make, model, and year. Section 3 is the county clerk's or authorized representative's certification that the log is correct, with signature and date. The log must be kept for two years and made available to the dealer commissioner office and law enforcement officers upon request, and the form is filed in compliance with KRS 186A.105.
