Feedtheminds Foundation Application Form PDF Details

The Feedtheminds Foundation Application form is a comprehensive document designed to support non-governmental and community-based organizations in obtaining financial grants ranging from £1,000 to £10,000 over a period of one to three years. The application form requires detailed information about the applying organization, including the name, establishment date, contact information, and a clear articulation of the organization’s aims, objectives, and key target groups. Additionally, it solicits information about past projects, previous funding from Feed the Minds, and an overview of the organization's funding strategies, annual turnover, structure, and affiliation with faith-based entities, if any. The form also asks for references from individuals not directly connected to the organization who can vouch for its legitimacy and impact. The second section of the form focuses on the proposed project, requesting a succinct title, implementation area, and a summary of the project in less than 100 words. It delves into the project framework, outlining the aim, objectives, outcomes, activities, methodology, and the needs assessment that predicates the project. Applicants must identify the project beneficiaries, potential collaborations with other organizations, sustainability plans post-funding, and elaborate on the monitoring and evaluation processes to measure the project's success. The application also queries whether the proposal is for an ongoing project and, if so, how it builds on previous efforts, incorporated lessons learned, and the possible request for an evaluation report from earlier projects. This thorough process ensures that only well-defined, impactful projects aligned with Feed the Minds' literacy and educational objectives receive funding.

1Please give details if you have applied for funding from other sources and are awaiting a response or successful.

2Capital costs are costs for the purchase of goods which will outlast the length of the project. They are costs for things that will not be used up during the length of the project and so will provide infrastructure or equipment that the organisation will retain once the project has ended. Examples include, but are not limited to, buildings, vehicles, computers, equipment such as printing presses, blackboards, furniture, etc. Limited funds means that Feed the Minds is unable to fund projects which include more than 15% for capital costs.

3Revenue costs are all costs associated with the purchase of goods or services which will be consumed within the course of the project. Examples include staff time, administrative costs, transport, consumable materials such as paper or pens, venue hire, etc.
