Form 9400 562 PDF Details

If you are a business owner or self-employed, you may be familiar with the Form 940. This form is used to report federal unemployment taxes, and is due every January. However, there is a new form that has been created specifically for businesses that owe payroll taxes- the Form 562. Read on to learn more about this new form, and find out if you are required to file it. Form 562 is used to report state unemployment insurance (SUI) and Employment Training Tax (ETT) withholding. SUI is a tax paid by employers based on the wages paid to their employees. ETT is a tax paid by employers to fund training and employment programs in California. If your company owes either of these taxes, you will need to file Form 562. You can find more information on the CA EDD website. Thank you for reading! I hope this article was helpful in explaining the new Form 562. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask in the comments section below.
