Introduced to streamline this process, the INZ 1175 form serves as a critical tool for both resident or former resident visa holders. This application facilitates the attainment of a permanent resident visa, a second or subsequent resident visa, or a variation in travel conditions, marking a significant step for individuals aiming to cement their stay in New Zealand. Detailed guidelines provided in the INZ 1176 guide accompany this form, aimed at demystifying the documentation and evidence required for a successful application. It's noteworthy that the eligibility for each visa type hinges upon the fulfillment of specific criteria, underscoring the importance of understanding one’s current visa status and history within New Zealand's immigration context. Furthermore, the INZ 1175 form meticulously outlines the need for clear, comprehensive information regarding one's personal and familial details, ensuring a personalized approach to each application. However, its use is restricted to non-New Zealand citizens, reflecting the form’s targeted demographic seeking to establish or maintain their residency in New Zealand under the Immigration Act 2009.
