Nsw Form 1354 PDF Details

The NSW 1354 form plays a critical role in supporting apprentices in New South Wales by offering a registration rebate, helping to alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with training and work-related vehicle expenses. Designed for use by first or second-year apprentices registered with the NSW Department of Education and Training, this form must be filled out meticulously using black or blue ballpoint pen, without the use of correction fluid or tape, to claim a rebate for vehicle registration. The eligibility criteria are specific, requiring that the vehicle be registered in NSW in the name of the apprentice or jointly with them, and used for general private or business purposes. An essential component of the application is the declaration by the apprentice, acknowledging the collection and use of their personal information for the rebate's administration and confirming the truthfulness of the provided details. The form underscores the privacy considerations by adhering to the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998, ensuring applicants are aware of their rights concerning their personal information. The rebate aims to facilitate a smoother journey through apprenticeship by offering financial relief in vehicle registration costs, demonstrating the government’s support for vocational education and training. Prompt and accurate completion of the form, alongside the provision of a bank account for the electronic funds transfer, ensures the efficient processing of the rebate, with unsuccessful applicants being notified in writing.
