As of June 1, 2016, Columbia County will require all occupants 18 years or older to complete and submit a supplemental form in order to be added to the lease agreement. This new requirement is in response to the new Protecting Tenants at Foreclosure Act which was signed into law on May 20, 2009. The purpose of this act is to help protect tenants who are living in a property that is being foreclosed upon.
