In an effort to improve transparency and efficiency, the Department of Defense (DoD) has released a new form, DD Form 1149C. This new form must be used by all DoD contractors in order to claim indirect costs on contracts with the department. The goal of this new form is to help ensure that taxpayers are getting the best value for their money. Contractors who wish to claim indirect costs on contracts with the DoD must use DD Form 1149C going forward.
