NOTE: To be considered by a court -mart ial, previous convict ions must be ADMITTED in evidence. Ordinarily, t hey are proved by int roducing in evidence a duly aut hent icat ed ext ract copy of accused' s milit ary personnel record (DD Form 493). They may also be proved by t he record of previous convict ions or by t he order promulgat ing t he result s of t rial.
