Keep a copy: license applicants are required to keep a copy of the Request for Live Scan Service, BCIA 8016 form, completed by the live scan vendor.
Not submitted: the applicant is not required to submit a copy of the completed BCIA 8016 form to the Department.
Non-resident applicants: fingerprinting can be completed at a local police agency or any vendor who is authorized to complete fingerprint impressions.
1033 Consent Waiver: if the applicant is a California resident, the applicant is to follow Steps 1 through 16 in the Resident Licensing Application Instructions.
