Form Ccc 185 PDF Details

A crucial tool for American farmers looking to enhance their storage and drying capabilities, the CCC-185 form, introduced by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), serves as the foundational step towards acquiring a loan under the Farm Storage and Drying Equipment Loan Program. This meticulously structured application demands from the applicants detailed information ranging from personal identification details, such as tax identification numbers and contact information, to comprehensive descriptions of the proposed storage facility including the type of commodities to be stored, the capacity of existing and proposed facilities, and the projected production estimates. Another vital component of this application is the certification by applicants, affirming the truthfulness and accuracy of the information provided, under the risk of facing criminal penalties for falsifications. Additionally, it details the approval process by the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) which includes the loan amount, repayment terms, and the prerequisites for the disbursement of the loan funds, such as proper installation and inspection of the facility equipment. Beyond the bureaucratic requirements, the form underscores the embodiment of fairness and non-discrimination in USDA's services, pointing out the channels available for filing complaints concerning program discrimination. In essence, the CCC-185 form not only facilitates the financial support process for farm storage and drying equipment but also starkly represents the intersection of agricultural development and regulatory compliance.
