Form Fp G1 PDF Details

In the heart of the bustling activities that signify the beginning of the fall season for many Girl Scouts across the nation, the FP-G1 Parent/Guardian Permission & Responsibility Form emerges as a crucial document, especially in the context of the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital. Crafted with care to ensure the smooth functioning of the 2011 Fall Product Sale Program Activities, this form serves as a binding agreement between parents or guardians and the Girl Scout organization. It outlines the responsibilities assumed by the parents, including financial accountability for products received, adherence to deadlines, and the assurance of adult supervision throughout the selling process. With sections devoted to both permission granting and the understanding of financial and participatory commitments, the form also briefly touches upon the incentive structure designed to motivate Girl Scouts. These incentives, aimed at rewarding their selling efforts, can vary depending on whether a traditional or cash incentive plan is chosen—a decision that significantly impacts how profits are utilized. By collecting signatures from both the parent or guardian and the Girl Scout, this form not only facilitates a transparent and organized approach to the Fall Product Sales but also reinforces the importance of shared responsibility and active participation in achieving common goals within the community.

2011 Fall Product Sale INCENTIVES

Selling Fall Products is a wonderful service to the Council. Troops earn troop proceeds for activities, and the Council receives funds to provide programs, training, financial aid and to maintain our camps. Incentives are intended to motivate girls in their selling efforts. ONLY girls earn incentives. Girls who set a personal goal as well as a troop goal with the other members of their troop prove to be most successful.

Girl Scouts can earn incentives for selling products and magazines through order taking. In the Traditional Incentive Plan, each girl earns the incentives that coincide with the product and magazines sold. In 2011, the Traditional Incentive Plan is a cumulative plan with eight earning levels. Girl Scouts as a troop, All Age Levels, may participate in the Traditional Incentive plan listed above or can opt to earn an additional 5% through the Cash Incentive Plan. Each troop must decide, by majority vote, on their plan before the start of the Fall Sale activities. To qualify, each Girl Scout and Parent/Guardian must acknowledge acceptance of the Cash Plan with signatures below. Troops using the Cash Plan do qualify for all patches available and the incentive for the address booklet.

INCENTIVE WAIVER FOR CASH PLAN ONLY:

I am aware of the troop decision to accept an additional 5% Troop proceeds in lieu of the Traditional Incentives offered. I understand I am also eligible to earn all the patches available.
