License and ID card: you cannot hold a driver's license or beginner's permit along with an identification card.
New ID card: the issuance of an identification card will result in all previous driver's licenses being cancelled.
Another state, later: if a driver's license or identification card is later issued to you by another state, your South Carolina card will be cancelled.
Previously issued: upon being issued a South Carolina card, any driver license(s) and/or identification card(s) previously issued by another state will be cancelled.
