Usda Form Fs 2200 13 PDF Details

The USDA Forest Service Form FS-2200-13 plays a pivotal role in managing term grazing permits within National Forests and Grasslands, serving as a legal document for the escrow waiver of these permits. Designed to accommodate situations where permittees must use their grazing privileges as collateral for loans, it ensures that the intricate balance between agricultural practices and land conservation is maintained. The form delineates a process by which permit holders can surrender their grazing rights temporarily to meet the demands of lending institutions. This mechanism, while protecting the interests of lenders, also safeguards the permit privileges for restoration upon the fulfillment of loan conditions or the lender's cessation of reliance on the escrow waiver. Furthermore, the form details the procedures for the release from an escrow waiver, marking the resolution of financial agreements and the full restoration of grazing privileges. It underscores the collaborative efforts between the USDA Forest Service, permittees, and financial institutions to reconcile economic activities with environmental stewardship. The document, valid through a specified expiration date and subject to renewal, highlights the essential information and steps required by both first and, if applicable, second lenders, emphasizing its legal and operational significance in managing grazing resources efficiently. The form’s structure and the processes it outlines are critical, showcasing the interconnectedness of financial health, agricultural practices, and conservation efforts in the context of public lands management.
