The Bangladesh IBRN Application Form is required for Bangladeshi citizens living in the United States who need an Interim Birth Registration Number (IBRN). This number is a mandatory requirement for obtaining a Machine Readable Passport (MRP) from the Consulate General of Bangladesh in New York. The consulate is located at 211 East 43rd Street, Suite 502, New York, and handles official documentation for Bangladeshi citizens across the United States.

Applicants must complete the form in English using block letters. The form requires accurate information in each field, including full name, date and place of birth, gender, current passport number and expiry date, permanent and present addresses in the United States, and the full names and nationalities of both the applicant's father and mother. Incomplete or incorrect forms may result in processing delays.

A fee of US$6.00 must be included with the application. Payment is accepted via Money Order or Bank Certified Cheque only. Cash payments are not accepted by the consulate. Applicants should check the consulate's current submission hours and plan their visit accordingly. A separate pick-up appointment is also required once processing is complete.
