Details about Blue Jean Friday
Launched in 1994, Blue Jean Friday unites the community in support of many worthwhile programs. Every month, employees across the Gallatin valley pay $2 on the first Friday of the month for the right to wear blue jeans to work. Money collected from participants is then given to the designated monthly recipient.
The Blue Jean Friday committee, which consists of representative from the sponsoring companies, reviews all sponsorship requests to determine whether the request would further the Blue Jean Friday mission: To assist Gallatin County organizations or programs that enhance the quality of life in the region and address specific com- munity needs.
Blue Jean Friday guidelines:
There will be one deadline annually to apply for Blue Jean Friday
Recipients of Blue Jean Friday funds must wait two years after funding is received to apply for funding again.
