Use our online PDF editor to fill out the Allstate Inventory form directly in your browser. Follow these steps to complete your household property record:
Step 1: Click the "Get Form Here" button above to open the form editor.
Step 2: You are on the file editing page. You can add text to each field, tick checkboxes, highlight sections, and insert additional notes using the toolbar.
Complete the form section by section, starting with the rooms you want to document:
In the Living Room and Family Room sections, record the original price and year of purchase for each item listed, including carpeting and rugs, sofas, coffee tables, end tables, entertainment center, shelving, and draperies. Add a subtotal for each room before moving on.
Record fireplace fixtures, piano, room decor, and miscellaneous items in the next section. Each category has a totals row. Note the copyright and Allstate agent contact fields at the bottom of the page.
For the Dining Room and Kitchen sections, enter information for your table and chairs, china cabinet, silverware, china, glassware, tablecloths, and kitchen appliances. Include the serial number for refrigerators, dishwashers, and other major appliances.
In the Bedrooms and Bathrooms sections, document each bedroom separately. The form has columns for up to four bedrooms. For each, list bed frames, mattresses, linens, nightstands, and electronics. Repeat the same process for each bathroom.
Step 3: Click the Done button to save or export your completed inventory document to any device.
Step 4: Save multiple copies. Keep a printed copy in a fireproof location and one digital copy in cloud storage so you can access it after any disaster.
Common Questions
Do I need to list every item in my home? Focus on items with meaningful replacement value: furniture, electronics, appliances, clothing collections, jewelry, artwork, and sporting equipment. Small consumables do not need individual entries.
What if I do not know the original price? Estimate as accurately as possible, then check current retail prices for comparable items online. Credit card statements and receipts are the most accurate source for original purchase price.
Where should I store my completed form? Save the PDF to cloud storage such as Google Drive or Dropbox and email yourself a copy. Keep a printed version in a fireproof safe. Off-site storage ensures you can access the document even if your home is damaged.
Are there related forms I should complete? For Allstate-specific claims, the Allstate Appeal printable form handles disputed settlements. For general property condition documentation, the Property Condition Checklist is a useful companion document.
