A new or reinstalled boiler shall not be operated until final inspection conducted by the Boiler Section is approved.
Final inspection: The licensee must request, schedule, and pass final inspection before a boiler is placed into operation.
Clearances: Clearances less than 24 inches around the boiler shall have attached to the permit the manufacturers minimum allowed clearances for the model of the boiler.
Installations: Provide a drawing showing clearance dimensions around boiler on the back side of this application and/or an attached sketch.
Inspection request: Schedule permitting, the inspector will respond to an inspection request within two (2) business days to schedule the inspection.
