Bpcc Abstract Form PDF Details

The BPCC Abstract Form is required for all participants in the Louisiana Region I Science & Engineering Fair in Bossier City, LA. Participants must prepare one original and two copies. The original stays with the participant while the two copies accompany the entry form to the fair coordinators.

The abstract must be typed in 12-point font within a defined block and is strictly limited to 250 words. The title appears in all capital letters, followed by the author's name, school name, and contact information. Each participant marks their entry division (Senior, Junior, or Elementary) and selects from available scientific disciplines: Animal Sciences, Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical, Energy and Transportation, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Mathematical Sciences, Medicine and Health, Microbiology, Physics and Astronomy, Plant Sciences, or Team Project.

Submitting an accurate and complete form helps fair coordinators evaluate and organize annual entries. Students planning to exhibit should also review the Science Fair Safety Sheet to confirm their project meets Louisiana Region I safety requirements. Those seeking guidance on abstract structure can reference the Abstract Sheet Form for standard formatting conventions.
