NOTES:

EACH CREW MEMBER FISHING MUST HAVE A LICENCE. Fines range to 6 figures plus confiscation of the boat.

The license will be valid for one year from date of issue.

The Pleasure Fishing License is intended for visiting yachts as well as bareboat charters. If you are planning a bareboat charter, you need only enter the charter company name and boat type for the “name of vessel” and mark N/A for the registration, and port.

The application must be accompanied by a valid photo ID and a check or money order for $35 (as of February, 2006). Include a photocopy of the first page of your passport and a separate wallet size photo for their records.

Make checks and money orders payable to the ACCOUNTANT GENERAL of the BVI.
