Vocal Abilities - 50 points maximum
Rate the performer for overall vocal skills. Judging criteria include proper pitch, annunciation, ability to be heard and understood, balance, and ability to keep on beat.
Presentation & Showmanship - 35 points maximum
Rate performer for overall showmanship and performance ability. Presentation Criteria include posture, eye contact, poise, control, level of confidence. Showmanship Criteria include audience interaction, costuming and staying “in character” throughout performance.
Technical Skills - 15 points maximum
Rate performer for introduction prior to song, use of musical breaks and closing the performance (i.e. staying until the end of the song, thanking audience, etc.) Technical skills also include microphone technique and ability to engage online viewing audience as opposed to physically present viewers.
