Spain’s Modelo 790, Código 052 (Tasa 052) is the fee slip people use when they apply for many Spanish immigration and residence procedures. Before you file your paperwork at extranjería or a consulate, you fill out this form, pay the amount shown, and attach the stamped proof of payment to your application.
Modelo 790-052 usually includes:
✔️ Your ID details – NIE, passport number, full name, nationality, and contact address.
✔️ The year, basic tax/self-assessment info, and an expediente/file number if you already have one.
✔️ The exact service you’re paying for (for example: first residence permit, renewal, study stay, family reunification, etc.).
✔️ The fee amount in euros and how you’re paying (cash at a collaborating bank or charge to your account).
✔️ Place, date, and your signature confirming the payment data.
For immigration offices, this form is simply the official proof that the Tasa 052 has been paid. Without it, they usually won’t even open the file.
Note: Today, most people generate Modelo 790-052 through the Spanish e-administration website, pay online or at a bank, and then print the PDF with the barcode and payment details to include with their immigration file.
