Proof of ownership is required and must be attached to this application before mailing. Applications submitted without this documentation will be returned and the request delayed. For questions regarding proof of ownership, call 800-628-3773.

Note: If the vessel being registered and titled was previously titled in NC or another state, the original title must be submitted as proof of ownership. A copy of the out-of-state registration card must be submitted with a notarized bill of sale when registering a vessel from a non- titling state.
