2019 Ticket Donation Request Form

Since 1992, the Tigers organization has donated over 50,000 tickets per season to deserving charitable organizations throughout Michigan, northern Ohio and southern Ontario, Canada with a focus on those that serve children in low to moderate income families in the greater Detroit community.

The purpose of this donation program is to allow deserving groups of Tigers fans the opportunity to enjoy Tigers Baseball at Comerica Park, with a focus on children in the greater Detroit community. Therefore, ticket donations are not available for auctions, raffles, door prizes, giveaway items or other promotional or fundraising purposes. Donated tickets may not be sold (at any price) and may not be distributed in an effort to solicit donations, contributions or any consideration of value.

Ticket Donation Request Instructions

Tickets and seating locations are subject to availability. Ticket requests must be submitted in writing at least five (5) weeks prior to the desired game date. To be eligible for a donation of tickets, a charitable organization must submit the following:

□Letter on organizational letterhead describing the following:

•Mission and goals of organization

•Proposed use for the tickets (ex: field trip for community youth group)

•Proposed distribution and utilization plan for the tickets

All three documents must be submitted together. Incomplete requests will not be considered for donation.

Approved ticket donations will be mailed approximately one week prior to the game date selected and

once processed, exchanges are not available. We are proud to support your efforts to strengthen our community and look forward to seeing you at the ballpark this season.

Please select four (4) game dates in the alternative based on the 2019 Ticket Donation Game Schedule. Prioritize game dates requested with your first choice, including at least one (1) Monday – Thursday game. Game Date confirmation will be provided prior to release of tickets.

*Limited availability. Wheel chair accessible tickets come paired with wheelchair companion tickets. Therefore, a request above for two (2) would include one wheelchair accessible ticket and one wheelchair companion ticket.

I (signer) hereby commit on behalf of the requesting organization to use the total allotment of tickets requested for the reasons specified in my organization’s accompanying request letter. It is understood that fulfillment of future ticket donation requests is determined by the requesting organization’s actual use of tickets requested in previous seasons.

Should the requesting organization receive a donation of tickets, it grants the Detroit Tigers and its affiliates the unrestricted right to use its name, likeness and / or image for any purpose related to this donation.
