For Vehicles

Missouri sets the requirement to record the vehicle in the state registry within 30 days after the purchase. The registration renewal might happen once per year or two years, which is up to the vehicle owner. It is possible to do it online using the Missouri Department of Revenue portal, in-person at one of the Missouri license offices, or by mail.

For Boats

The state demands all owners whose vessels have a motor or are 12 feet or longer to register them at the Missouri DMV office. Those who purchased their vessels have 60 days after the purchase to put them in the state registry. The registration renewal should take place every three years. The registration fee ranges from $25 to $150.

For Firearms

The sale of a firearm is accessible for everyone who can legally own one in the state of Missouri. According to the Missouri Statutes, only a small category of people are prohibited from buying and possessing a gun. There is no firearm registry in Missouri, hence is no need to register a firearm if you have one. A person can get a concealed carry permit, but lawful owners of firearms in Missouri are not legally required to obtain it.
