Missouri boat bill of sale records the sale of a boat and lets the buyer show that the ownership changed. It lists the boat, the seller, the buyer, the price and the date of the sale. The Department of Revenue asks for a descriptive bill of sale for a boat, and its Form 1957 boat section asks for the year, make, title number, vessel identification number, date of sale and price.[3.1]

Missouri firearm bill of sale records a gun sale between two people. It lists the firearm, the seller, the buyer, the price and the date of the sale. A concealed carry permit is optional for a lawful gun owner in Missouri. Carrying a concealed firearm is an offense under Mo. Rev. Stat. § 571.030.1(1) only in an area where firearms are restricted under § 571.107.[4.1]

The Missouri Department of Revenue spells out what sellers and buyers must complete when a vehicle changes hands. The list is short. It covers the certificate of title, the names and signatures on it, and the odometer reading.[1.1] A bill of sale is a separate written record of the deal that you can keep alongside these items.
The Department’s own words on the signatures are short.
All sellers and purchasers must print their names and sign the back of the title in the assignment area. These signatures do not need to be notarized.
That means a notary is not needed for the signatures on the title. The Department of Revenue’s own Form 1957 covers a motor vehicle, a boat, a trailer, an outboard motor and an even-trade unit, and it must be notarized only when it shows proof of ownership of major component parts of a rebuilt vehicle or when the Department of Revenue specifically asks for it.[5.2]
