A New Jersey power of attorney is a legal record any adult in the state can sign if they want to delegate various authorities and responsibilities to another adult individual. There are different types of POA forms used in different circumstances. For instance, if you have children and need to assign a temporary guardian for them, you should sign a certain POA template.
Even though the idea of POA forms is the same in all American states, there are some peculiarities regarding the templates and signing rules. You are welcome to use all New Jersey templates we have placed below alongside signing requirements for each type. The templates include state-specific forms: Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care (Proxy Directive), Power of Attorney and Declaration by Authorized Agent (MCS POA&DAA) for vehicles, and M-5008-R for tax matters.
